🚙 Honda CR-V radio upgrade
Just posting some quick proof of my latest CR-V mod: a radio upgrade in January 2023. Parts ordered from Crutchfield for ~$815:
- Sony XAV-AX4000
- Scosche dash kit
- iDatalink Maestro
- antenna adapter
It's great, with one big caveat: if I could do it over, I would opt for wired CarPlay. The wireless connection is very finicky and that is not something anyone needs in a car. Sometimes the unit simply won't connect to my phone and I have to restart the unit (hold down the Home button until the Sony logo appears on-screen).
