Concert: Glass Animals

I went to this concert with my sister, brother-in-law, and a friend of ours. This was my second time at Walnut Creek and the weather was so much better this time. We sat on the packed-out lawn, which was pretty chill other than all the smokers. I know pot smokers think they’re cooler than cigarette smokers, but they’re not. The smell is awful. Next time we’ll sit in one of the family areas or off to one side of the lawn where it isn’t as full.
Glass Animals has one of the best stage and lighting rigs I’ve seen to date. There’s a cute custom intro with aliens in outer space talking about where they’re headed, complete with a zoom in all the way to the specific venue. The band said this was one of the largest crowds they had seen on the tour so far.
